Okies, I looked, and I could not find one freakin speaker stand for computer speakers that even remotely fit what I needed. So I built my own, pretty cheap too. I built 6, cause well, that is how many I needed. Adjust the bill as you see fit. So without further ado:
The rear speaker stands are 41" tall. The front and sides are 34".
Here's how to build em. The parts needed are per stand. I used 3/4" PVC.
For 6 stands, I needed 2 10' PVC pipe at $3.21 each, then cut down to desired size.
For the base, you will need 3 of these at $1.72 each:
4 of these at $.72:
6 of these couplers at $.44 each:
I used a 6x1" pine board that was an 8' length. Cut to size based on the size of your speaker. The whole board cost $4.27 and I used less than half of that for all 6 stands.(Sorry no pic.)
You will need a wall flange, there are usually 2 in a package, but you can only use one, because the second piece isn't complete, not easy to explain, but you will see if you try this. Bonus, it comes with the screws to attach the wood base to the PVC pipe. They were $1.79 a pack.
To put it all together you will need PVC glue at $4.69. One can will allow you to build about 100 of these, so the smallest you can buy will work:
Then, just for a nice finished look, a can of Rust-Oleum gloss black plastic spray paint. I needed 2 cans and they were $3.84 a can:
So for 6 stands, it cost me a grand total of $97.64 and I had a bunch left over for another set, but hey, live and learn sometimes on quantities. And just FYI, the only speaker stands I found that were remotely comparable were $35.00 each.
If you want to actually attempt this and want to learn from my mistakes, just let me know.
